Yervika’s 1:1 sessions support people in learning how to listen and tune into the wisdom of the natural world. Through somatic nature-based practices, as well as learning about herbs, we’ll root in the reality of our inherent interconnection with nature and uncover new ways of being that can unlock our inner healer and connect us back to our truest selves.

Why this? Why now?

Modernity, capitalism, colonialism, and current-day social structures have disconnected us from nature, from ourselves, and from each other, leading to heightened feelings of powerlessness, isolation, high levels of stress, feelings and symptoms of burnout, and a nervous system that is dysregulated more often than not.

The times we are living in are demanding something different from us: they are demanding that we adopt different ways of being, different ways of living, and different ways of understanding and relating to the world around us.

Yervika’s 1:1 sessions are designed to support you in moving away from old paradigms and towards new ones that are rooted in relationship and connection. This journey inherently unlocks your inner wisdom and helps you reclaim your power so that you can best show up for yourself and in community to respond to the profound shifts that are taking place in our world.

What will sessions entail?

1:1 sessions are tailored towards the interests, needs, and concerns of each individual person. That being said, there are a few throughlines that we maintain in order to stay true to Yervika’s overall vision and goals.

During sessions, we will learn:

  • how to build a relationship with the natural world, including the process of (re-)learning to listen

  • an orientation to plants as living beings with important wisdom and guidance to offer us

  • practices to support nervous system and stress reduction, including breathwork techniques and nature-based meditations

  • how to tap into the wisdom of herbs, understanding and experiencing their role as ancestors (plantcestors), spiritual guides, and healers for human beings

  • the virtues/properties of herbs, including herbs that come up through our sessions

  • various herbal preparations and their recipes

Tools we’ll use

The tools we’ll use will help you access the wisdom and healing that is meant for you so that you can show up in the ways you are being called to.

These include:

  • Guided meditation: we’ll employ nature-based guided meditations that will help to calm your mind/body/spirit and support you in re-connecting to nature and feeling a sense of belonging to a greater whole

  • Journaling: we’ll use the tool of journaling (writing) to support you in processing your thoughts and feelings. This modality will enable you to uncover new insights and realizations, record your evolution, and it will help you tap into and access your inner wisdom

  • Somatic nature-based practices: we will implement practices in/with nature that will help you draw upon the healing properties of the natural world. We’ll learn how to co-regulate our nervous systems with nature to be able to access more calm and grounding more frequently

  • Interaction with plants: you’ll be guided in how to form and deepen your relationship with plants by interacting with them. We’ll focus on specific plants that are calling you in for healing, growth, and expansion, and you’ll be guided in learning how to listen. This practice is part of getting back into right relationship with the natural world around us

  • Herbal medicine making: we will make herbal preparations together to support your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. These preparations range from herbal teas, tinctures, oxymels, glycerites, oils, salves, and more. What we make (type of herbal preparation) and what we make it with (herbs that go into it) is tailored towards your current needs and interests. Safety precautions will be taught as well

Where will this take place?

If you are in the Bay Area in California, sessions can be in person! We will likely meet outdoors in a nature-based setting.

Sessions are also available online via zoom.

Will there be homework?

Yes! There will be light homework in between sessions to support, enhance, and deepen the journey.

Commitment Options

Recommended commitment:

  • The recommended length of time for 1:1 sessions is three months. This time frame enables you to develop skills, practices, and habits that can create longer-lasting change.

Other options:

  • If you cannot commit to three months, one month is also a good length of time to engage in Yervika’s 1:1 sessions. You are welcome to sign up for one month initially, and then extend your commitment if it feels like a good fit.

  • Single sessions are also available for those who are interested but either cannot commit to longer, or do not want to make a longer commitment before trying it out first.
