Services
Yervika’s services are designed to facilitate the learning of herbal knowledge in order to foster more connection & belonging. Services connect people to plants, plants to people, and people to people.
Yervika’s guides are designed as tools for self and community-based learning. These guides are meant to be a starting point for learning about herbs & herbalism for individuals, organizations, and communities. Current topics include:
what herbs to plant in garden ecosystems, where to plant them, and how to use them
herbs for a specific purpose, such as nourishing the nervous system, addressing stress, or enhancing dreams
herbs from a specific culture and their traditional and historical uses
Yervika offers workshops & classes designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of, connection to, and experience with herbs & herbalism. Workshops are tailored to participants’ interests, needs, ages, and ecosystems, and typically include an introduction to herbalism as well as a deeper dive into specific herbs. Workshops are available for small and large groups, and can be requested as part of in- or after-school curriculum, teacher/staff training programs, or health & wellness retreats.
Yervika offers consultations to programs, organizations, groups, and individuals interested in incorporating herbs or herbalism into their work and/or garden. Consultations range from planning & planting herbs in a garden space to developing educational materials such as guides & curriculum.
Yervika’s 1:1 sessions are for people wanting to explore the healing power of nature. Through somatic nature-based practices as well as learning about herbs, we’ll deepen in the reality of our inherent interconnection with nature, and uncover new ways of being that can connect us back to our true selves.
